Playoffs? Who’s talkin’ about Playoffs?
So the long 14 week regular season is over and the Playoff are here.
It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride for me as well as many of the rest of you.
Now is where it gets real. There are 3 weeks to the playoffs and as you know the winner will get an iPad as the grand prize. But many of you don’t know that the 2nd place team will win an Apple TV.
I noticed now the there is a consolation bracket for what I’m calling “The Best of the Worst.”
The winner of that will get an iTunes Gift Card.

I will also be issuing a Trophy to the winner that will be passed around to the winner of every season as we go into the future. In addition to that I will be giving a little award to the owner who complained the most throughout the season for him or her to keep.
Stacking the Bench
After doing a lot of research and thought I have made a decision on the Stacking The Bench situation. I even called ESPN to get further information on the situation.
Please notice the 2 attached pictures.
There apparently is a glitch in ESPN online Free Fantasy Football League where as that even though there is a bench limit of 5 you can for some reason you are able to have greater than that amount. The rule also says 14 starters and 5 on bench. In a Free ESPN League I can’t set a limit of the amount on the bench.
Here is my decision, you are free to decide whether or not you want 2 Cornerbacks active in a game as long as you play 1, but you you can not have more than 6 on the bench if you have 13 starters. You also must play the Linebacker.
If this is not acceptable and you wish to leave the league I will gladly reimburse you and then release all of your players for the other teams have the opportunity to pick up your players.
I hope this ends this debate because there was no easy way to do this. Sometimes you have to make a decision as the Commissioner that will not please everyone, but this was something I had to do.

Scoring Update
Since yesterday I was notified by several teams the the Quarterbacks were only getting 4 points for a Touchdown Pass. I was asked to change it so that it was equal to that of the receivers so it is now 6 points as it should be. You will see that in your scores as they have changed.
If you would like any other scores to be adjusted let me know as I have until the start of week one to make the final submissions for that.

Since a few teams cried about the punting and kicking situation I was able to reset it so that the punter doesn’t get 3 points per yard that they kicked. I honestly made a mistake and thought it was 3 points per punt. I made a mistake and I admit that and so I hope now that the cry babies can get over it and move on.

Since last nights game, which was amazing there has been a lot of questions and concerns about how the scoring was so crazy.
The truth is, I am not completely sure myself.
If you check out this PDF of the scoring breakdown maybe it will help. I for one can’t see how the scoring seems to be so all over the place.
Also this was only 1 game. There is an entire weekend worth of games to be played.
Yes, Rodgers threw for a ton of touchdowns and so did Brees but the Punter and Kicker and Head Coach had more points. I get that and it is crazy I know. I don’t have an answer for it. If you are that concerned about it call 1-888-549-ESPN for answers.

The league is now complete with all 20 teams registered and excepted the invites. I know people had some amount of difficulty and I can’t seem to figure out why but I am glad everyone is all set. Tomorrow I will be posting a video on the site to help better navigate the ESPN Fantasy Sports Page.
