This year has been moving rapidly. It is amazing how fast the time has gone by. So far my two podcasts are booming. We’ve started a Patreon on the Wizards Podcast. Box Office 30 and The Wizards Podcast have started their own TeePublic Stores and websites.
I am also producing a feature film called UFO Club. We are shooting this summer in Connecticut and here on Long Island. Things have been moving fast and furiously on that front. We are locking up locations and actors and compiling our equipment. We have received initial funding for the film which we are shooting in 6K Raw on a BlackMagic Cinema 6K Pro camera.
I have been working on a few of my own screenplays and graphic novels. They are going a little slower than I would have liked, but I am still enjoying the process. I have also started proofing other peoples scripts. I love the act of reading scripts and story ideas to help other develop their own ideas.
I was asked by my job to be a faculty judge for the New York City Annual Graphic Arts Competition where are reviewing and critiquing high school student work for young aspiring filmmakers. I really enjoy that work and to provide them with positive, objective feedback.
I was told recently that I should look into starting a Master Class. I have never really considered myself a master of anything, but I do love the craft. I love cultivating ideas and developing stories. I have been updating my home studio with new lights and recording equipment in the event I decide to take the leap into the master class realm.
